John McGlothlin grew up in San Marcos, Texas and graduated from San Marcos High School. John earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas State. John worked in management for a division of Berkshire-Hathaway and later his family’s flooring business after he moved back to San Marcos.
Charmaine Wilde moved to San Marcos, Texas in 2007 two weeks after getting married. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University. Charmaine worked in the administrative division of Texas State Athletics before she attended law school at Baylor Law School.
Charmaine also became a mom in her last year of law school, juggling law school and a NICU baby. Immediately following graduation, she passed the bar exam and went to work for the Hays County District Attorney’s Office.
David Junkin is from Texas and has lived and practiced in the Wimberley San Marcos for thirty years. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston and was licensed to practice law in 1991. He worked throughout the 1990s in a large litigation practice in Austin. Prior to 2000, David opened his own practice in Wimberley. He specialized in civil trial law and represented individuals, businesses, and property owner’s associations. David earned a reputation of being one of the top local litigators and was widely respected by other lawyers in the areas as well as clients, some of whom he represented in multiple disputes over the almost 20 years his office was open.
Ashley Chagnon attended Texas Tech Law school and practiced law in Colorado and West Texas for the first decade of her career. Her family relocated to the San Marcos area and she spent some time practicing law part time while focusing on her children. She returned to full time practice in 2019 when she joined McGlothlin Junkin & Wilde as an associate. Ashley’s practice is primarily focused on commercial and real estate transactions as well as business formations and disputes that arise around real estate transactions.
Sarah Neiman grew up outside of Chicago and attended undergrad at Pepperdine. She earned a law degree from Baylor and passed the Texas bar exam to earn her law license in 2021. She clerked at McGlothlin Junkin & Wilde as a law student and came on as an Associate Attorney in 2021. Her practice is focused on family law.
Jodie Bryson grew up in San Marcos and is committed to serving her family, community, and church. Jodie joined the firm four years ago after working as a paralegal in a busy Austin firm for almost a decade. Jodie is the main point of contact for all clients and is key in working on discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation. She left San Marcos for Texas A&M after high school but returned shortly after graduation.
